The Green Tulip offers afternoon homeschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children 6 and older. Children who attend this program will design their own lesson plans, based on their individual interests.

 

We teach using a holistic approach and encourage hands-on learning and deep exploration. Our approach is patient and gentle, we understand that at this age interest may fade rapidly; our lesson plans and activities may change often but will always be revisited when we feel the time is right. We aim to first build confidence and self-esteem and allow children to learn at their own pace.

 

We also work with children attending schools and provide tutoring and homework help. We approach mainstream education in alternative ways and work with the child individually with the approach that best suits him or her, so the children can have a deeper understanding of the subject matter and more confidence in their abilities.
